Ford Lawn Tractor Wiring Diagram

I need some wiring help with my 67 Ford 120. I've got the "diagram" attached. While it is useful, it doesn't go all the way toward getting the job done. I've labeled the connections "A,B,C...etc." What I need to know is "one end of A ends up being G on the other end" that type of thing. Thanks in advance for any help given.

Welcome to the forum! I was trying to help someone a few weeks ago with a wiring problem. These tractors are so old(wiring changed many times) it is very hard to use an original wiring diagram to troubleshoot a problem I ended up going through each wire,replacing and changing connections as needed, Here is the thread. Did you write the letters on the drawing. The look hand written. On some drawings the letter usually denotes the component, so lets say in the case of the starting system. "A" Maybe the starter Solenoid and "G" maybe the Starter. I have also seen some drawings where they use a letter to denote going from one page of the drawing to the next page to show continuation. Also to confuse things even more sometimes they will use a letter to denote connections points like "A" to "A" so using the first example you would have an "A" at the Solenoid and one at the starter connections.
Looking at your drawing the last on option is the one I think someone it trying to use. Hope this helps and welcome to GTT.

hello, hopefully attached here will be a wiring schematic i found God knows where, regarding typical wiring for a starter-generator. although not a complete schematic, it will at least allow you to ensure that the starter generator is wired correctly, which will ensure you can start, stop, and charge. get your hands on a multi meter, they are your best friend. after you figure it out, draw yourself a schematic, and keep it in a safe place!

OK, after my reply here i realized I did not have a schematic for my ford 120 tractor, so based upon the standard wiring for a starter / generator, and the "diagram" ford supplied, i came up with the attached. any comments or corrections from anybody?

I think your wiring is correct. Here's a Cub wiring for the starter/generator to check it with.

got my autocad working, so i redrew the schematic i posted yesterday with a better looking drawn version. wanted to substitute this new copy into the old post but it would not let me.
posted here, hopefully, is an ACAD drawing in pdf format, which should be cleaner and easier to read. i added the tagging for the switches etc so it complies with the "diagram" in the parts book

You could upload that into the Ford/Jacobsen Manuals section in the Brochures/Misc area for other folks to use!
